Founded with Love and Learning in Mind
We started with a simple goal: to create the kind of care we wanted for our own kids — nurturing, safe, and full of joyful learning.
What began as an in-home daycare has grown into a trusted space for families with two locations across the Keweenaw – built on local roots, early education expertise, and a whole lot of heart.
What We Provide
We’re proud to offer more than just childcare—we provide a supportive environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. From dedicated staff and nutritious meals to engaging outdoor play and a creative, play-based curriculum, every aspect of our program is designed with your child’s well-being and development in mind. Hours of Operation
Open 7:30am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday – even during most school breaks.
Qualified Staff
Our team includes trained caregivers and educators with a passion for early childhood development.
Meals Included
We serve breakfast, lunch, and healthy snacks daily, with all meals prepared with care to support your child’s well-being.
Outdoor Space
Each of our locations features a safe and engaging outdoor play area where children can run, explore, and enjoy fresh air.

We create a warm, family-like atmosphere where children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.

Our Curriculum
At Gabby’s Guppies we are thrilled to be using the Experience Curriculum system — a complete, research-based early learning approach designed to help every child grow, explore, and thrive.
Created for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and multi-age groups, it brings together hands-on materials, daily lesson plans and meaningful experiences that build development across all domains: social-emotional, physical, cognitive, language and early literacy.
